DATES: July 22nd - 28th, 2007
Come ride, learn, and make new friends in Goshen, Kentucky at Goshen Crest Farm. Students ages 10-17 of all riding levels welcome. Students will spend time each day in the saddle, class room, and other summer activities. Students will be tested for the Riding Badge Program and the final day will include a fun show.
Curriculum:
• Basic Horsecare & Handling
• Fitting Horse Tack
• Riding
• Understanding the Gaits
• Games & Fun
• How to Show your Icelandic Horse
• Riding Badge Testing
• Horse Artwork
Package Includes:
• Daily clinic/lessons and time spent with instructors
• Lodging & meals included
• Use of horses and all tack and safety equipment
(Students are welcome to bring their own horses for a nominal board fee)
• Shuttle service from Louisville Airport provided upon prior arrangement
